An Effective Therapy using

Essential Oils

Aromatherapy can be defined as the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit.

The Therapy is natural, non-invasive and designed to affect the whole person not just the symptom or disease, it assists the body's natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself by the correct use of essential oils.

Essential Oils are extensively used in our clinic

for a variety of benefits

They are included in our 'Synergistic Naturopathic Blends' which we use in all our massage services, including the

Aromatherapy Massage Treatments

Essential oils have been used throughout history in many cultures for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits.

Essential Oils are fragrant oils derived from plants, they can come from the bark, roots, stems, flowers or seeds of a plant and most often obtained from the plant through a process of distillation.

They are highly concentrated oils, comprised of very small molecules that your body can absorb through the skin or nose. Once in your system, they interact with your body in various ways depending on the therapeutic benefits of the plant it derives from.

Essential essences have many different medicinal purposes including

  • reducing inflammation,

  • analgesic effects on the muscle tissue,

  • increasing the relaxation response known to reduce stress, anxiety and other emotional dis-ease.

  • aid in the prevention of illness,

  • ease physical pain

  • antiseptic and bacterial qualities.

Different essential oils are known for their energetic vibrational healing effect

  • the use of essential oils is the fastest way to increase or heighten your vibration.

  • beneficial for those suffering from depression, high stress and anxiety.

  • balance mood,

  • enhance the vibration of a room,

  • cleanse your aura,

  • cleanse a space or environment

Please Note:

Essential oils are not the same as perfume or fragrance oils. Perfume oils are artificially created in a chemist’s lab, while essential oils are a product of nature and used for medicinal purposes.  We only use 100% natural essential oils in our clinic.

How we use Aromatherapy in clinic

Aromatherapy Relaxation Massage

Relaxation Massage has a positive psychological effect. When we are stressed, our breathing becomes more rapid and shallow, our hearts work harder and digestion slows down. Chronic stress can influence a number of illnesses including migraines, depression, anxiety, insomnia, weight gain, break down in relationships and hypertension are just a few.

Aromatherapy Massage therapy is a gentle, relaxing and flowing style of massage that can help to relieve tension and counteract the effects of stress on the body.

The essential oils are blended specifically for your presenting symptoms at each treatment session.

Other uses include:

  • Vibrational Sprays

  • skin products for individual therapeutic benefits

  • the use of diffuses or oil burners (antiseptic, bacterial, or to create harmonious qualities)

  • we can consult with you as to how to best use essential oils for your individual needs

  • our candles are soy with essential oils

  • we use essential oils for cleaning, and clearing our clinic
